Kemper System Inc. is a member of the IBG group of companies - a worldwide leader and innovator in fully reinforced cold-liquid applied waterproofing and surfacing systems.
Kemper System’s revolutionary resin-fleece technology was first developed in 1957 when German scientist Heinz B. Kemper developed a liquid-applied polyester resin, which he combined with polyester fleece to form a fully reinforced monolithic waterproofing and roofing membrane.
The first commercial application of a Kemper System membrane occurred in 1960. In 1967 a Kemperol membrane was applied to the 3 million square foot roof of a major Volkswagon plant in Germany. This Kemper System membrane continues to perform - without failure - to this day.
Since then, Kemper System waterproofing and surfacing products have been protecting some of the world’s most important landmarks and most valuable properties. With offices in 30 countries, Kemper System membranes protect over 1 billion square feet of surfaces under a range of climatic conditions. From the Empire State Building to the Alaska Pipeline, when there is a critical waterproofing and surfacing challenge, Kemper System has delivered the solution. No project is too large or complex - whatever the specifications, the Kemper System team can meet the challenge.
The versatility and adaptability of Kemperol membranes combined with the professional technical support of the Kemper System staff, can deliver a long term, build-to-last solution for any waterproofing challenge.
Architects, building engineers, roofing consultants, contractors and building owners have come to trust Kemper System to consistently deliver quality, service, support and long-term value to every project. Whatever the waterproofing challenge, Kemper System can deliver the solution.
